Reva has been transferred to the WTC… perhaps the most shocking part of this book to me.

Imagine my surprise googling her medication list just to find out half of them are made up.

I find this character familiar and scary. I dont want to project but there are many habits she has that I see in myself (it also doesn’t help that she’s unnamed so far). There’s a layer of muggy pre 9/11 NYC air in this book that I love and cherish. Excited to see where this goes :)

I’ve just finished “The Lincoln Train” and “The Cost to be Wise” today and I’m further convinced on changing my cap stone paper topic. The violence inflicted on women’s bodies during wartime or times of high violence is so prevalent.
