Can anyone tell me how the mystery was solved? I know the result but I want to know how.

I’m just about to start this and it sounds fascinating. Pray it won’t be too dark.

Again, I was unable to scan this book successfully on Goodreads. It picks up the right book and then almost instantly changed it to the wrong book! Come on Goodreads. Fix this.

Now, with Goodreads, you scan a book. The right one comes up. Quickly disappears. And wrong ones come up. Was somebody not happy with it working correctly?

This is a little book but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I finished this book about a month ago. It is full of twists and turns until the very end. But I never really got into it.

This was a great story. And, since it is true it makes me think of people I know that have been and are seals. Amazing what they have to go through but we do need the toughest of the tough. The smartest of the smart. The most dedicated of a dedicated.

I just started reading this myself and was very unsure whether to continue or not. I do not like books like gone girl. They are just far too depressing. A good mystery though… A little Stephen King in there… I’m just hoping that I’ll be able to make it through.
Your review gives me hope.

Upon reading the amount of stars other readers gave this book, I was surprised. Nothing I saw is below at three or above a 4 1/2. A pretty tight range.

Eight pages in and this book is so much better than the previous Sandra Dallas I read.

Here I am a senior citizen and I’m in love with the nameless young father.

Thank goodness The Last Midwife has earned more stars and more positive comments than the patchwork bride, which I just finished. I will waste time on another lackluster book.

I believe: James fell in love with Nell before he knew what happened. He did not set out to cheat. He has a wife and kids back home. He will be Nell’s second heartbreak.

Haven’t been able to get into this, but it’s still on my to read table.

My bet is on the antique dealer. Antique sword.
Haven’t heard about him much so far.

Oh. I just received a book in the mail that I ordered. My Side of the Mountain. It’s a little so going to read it first and this one will go on hold.

This is a small book and I’m only halfway through but I just cannot continue to waste my time. I read one of “The Cat Who...” books and this is just another repeat.

Oh! Finish this a while ago and thought I already printed I review. I found the book very, very interesting. It gave an insight to a child and a family living with T1D. God bless the children!

I’m quite surprised that Cixi did not realize and consider the repercussions of mismatching her sons with the wrong wives. She is so far-sighted in everything else.

I can’t believe I’m only 126 pages into this. It is a saga. Very interesting. I am learning new things every step of the way.
I love how Cixi’s mind works. Her instincts are brilliant. How she governs when being so closed off from even her own society is amazing.
