I forgot how awful the writing is.

It’s so bad

I’m irritated

It irritates me that I can put this down and pick it back up months later without having forgot everything because that means the events of the story are notable. Geraldine man handling a man’s butt shouldn’t be something I can remember for months on end!!

Sally Rooney must be like a professional rage baiter wdym they broke up cause that man couldnt ask to live at the apartment he’d been living at

Can these bitches just admit that they care about each other??? Insufferable as hell for what???

Why the helllllll is she dating a neonazi.

Oh no! Popular boy doesn’t know how to handle Feelings. This man is making me mad.

Bro

Beyond excited to continue this journey. My most favorite guilty pleasure literally ever.

Man maybe I’m evil but like they definitely haven’t been together long enough to get engaged, this just feels like Reid couldn’t come up with another ending.

I wish the reader was able to see more of Effy’s perspective in this book. While this scene is very dark and sad, I can’t help but feel like I don’t understand her motivation behind doing this. This book has been so well written, but I think the shifting perspective takes away from Effy’s storyline; it’s almost like she’s become an object for the plot and not an individual. Maybe that’s the point?
