Ok chapter 4 is great.

Not every activity is undertaken for the sole purpose of happiness.

But just because the purpose isn’t happiness, doesn’t mean we undertake those activities for the inverse reason— to feel miserable.

Flip-flopittiness doesn’t dissolve the issue— it only sheds light on how much happiness isn’t logically the #1 priority all of the time.
