I’m only going to finish it because I’m already past the first half and people say the ending makes you cry. But so far, it’s boring and has the most annoying and selfish character I’ve ever read. Rune is such an asshole and I’m in no way moved by his and Poppy’s “love”.

Omg the main character (Rune) is SO annoying. His only personality trait is “I love Poppy, she’s mine and we’ll be together forever”. He comes off as possessive instead of cute. It pisses me off how ungrateful and stupid he is, saying he’ll never forgive his parents for separating them when it’s something necessary for his dad to keep his job. Plus, he refers to other girls as “sluts” to lift Poppy up
