The prologue of this book was a really good intro to the characters and concept with just enough suspicion sprinkled in to show the reader that more is going on than a simple competition. Feels like it should have been spread across multiple chapters though but I know why it was written this way.

I don't know what's worse, being tracked by a crime lord or creepy cult nightmares.
