Maybe a spoiler: I have a strong feeling Lily ends up with Atlas, as I’ve hoped from the beginning of the book.

I have to read this book for school. I don’t really like it. Not quite sure why. I think it’s because there isn’t much happening this whole book … Kathy is just describing a bunch of memories- which, yes, are important for the story, but sometimes I find them a bit boring. There is something weird happening in this whole book and I can’t quite figure out where it is going- that’s one positive thing!

From the beginning, I tried disliking this book, because one of my friends was telling me about how she looked up some reviews, that said that violence is pretty romanticized in the book. But I’d lie if I said I’m not enjoying the book. I do see why people would say violence is romanticized, although I do think, since the book is writen in Lily’s POV, it’s how a victim of violence would have seen it.
