Okay, not amazing, but certainly not bad either. I simply think it lacks depth thus far. It raises some important concerns about the state of governance after a revolution, but the stupidness of the animals at the farm makes these issues seem negligible in practice.
The plot also becomes very obvious even after reading only a few chapters.
