Rereading again, The voice joe is written with I enjoy cause its smut, its cursing and it feels human. Adds to the horror and grip it has. I've not finished the collection before so hoping to just read through the whole set at a steady pace

Taking this in small doses, just wanted filth and smut

I got the free sample, finished it in like half an hour. Needed to read the rest. I have not seen the movie yet, but I can already feel that I'll hate it due to the casting and how it's seen in my head so far

My brother told me to read this while we were on a family holiday so I bought on my kindle and started. I personally hate the writing style, feels like a "anyone can release a book during covid" sort of style. Not that there is anything wrong with that but its a bit too literal in how I read it. It works for my brother as it eliminates a lot of the "faff" but its just a bit too basic in terms of language

I am utterly befuddled at the hype of this book so far. Feyre as a character who kept her family alive for years, is supposed to be a strong hunter is continously putting herself in danger and is genuinely so incredibly unlikeable. When other characters (somehow) warm to her she just says something utterly ridiculous to strike a nerve. Contemplating a DNF as its got no charm but do I continue to see if it improves?
