I feel like i am going through a humiliation ritual. I strongly dislike insta attraction when characters do the absolute most behind someone they apparently met five seconds ago. Why are we threatening death and jumping at everyone. And why does everyone who encounters Non treat her like doodoo garbage.

Non’d family is rage bait personified. Ideky they treat her like literal shit and go out of their way to degrade her. I wonder if I am going to find out a justifiable reason why by the end of the book or if they were just being absolute dickheads for no reason.

I dint know if the quality declined or I didn’t care when I read the first 3 books but lord I struggled to get through this.

One thing that took me out initially was the fact that they spent a good percentage of the beginning of the book in Ash’ bedroom… I was going crazy for interactions with literally anyone else outside the room.

Dont like Sera’s character and Ash is annoying too.
