Wait I love it

What the hell is the pacing on this book? You couldn't give more to the backstory? That was such an amazing build up. The mines. The social structure. Then we're just playing f****** bloody capture the flag for like 3/4 of the book? Are we serious? This is so stupid. I don't know why I'm finishing this. This is really embarrassing

The narrator in the audiobook has such a boring speaking voice. I think it would be quite a bit more interesting if there were shifts in expression and not just so monotone like cool kid telling a story like it's no big deal. It's coming across as no big deal. I am bored.
