i didn't read the summary of the the book i just started it and i realized this is the second book I'm reading about a house 😭

urrm so idk how to feel about it so far i mean i like it and it's written pretty well but like there are just some places where i'm like huh that sounds wired but it's pretty okay for now

i called it i knew something was wrong with the mrs. Baker ugh something is very wrong with her like why the heck is she keeping Lenora in her room the whole time like let the lady live :( also i'm not sure if she still is innocent or not

i love the whole house tilting towards the ocean vibes!!! also i have no clue as to how this will end i mean i have my suspicions but i could be wrong but it's so good

i am not really sure what the overall plot is supposed to be because i don't read the back of books like ever but i am loving it even tho i'm in kind of a slow part coz i know the story is about to pick up!!

okay i really need the physical copy of this book because i have soooo much to annotate

also a Nancy Drew mention!?!?! we loveeeee

i love how there was so much that happened in the first 5 chapters like hello it was like a whole other story

i literally just started the book and i'm already so invested in the works, it's been 5 pages...

it's 2am i have to wake up early tmrw but i don't wanna sleep coz the book is so good I've been reading for 2 hrs straight and i've read 200 pages without taking a break even once what is this book doing to me 😭
