back on my fors anth shit again 🤓

how i did forget how much i love olivie blake’s writing

hoping a reread of a fav series gets me out of this godforsaken reading slump

i am in the deepest trenches of a reading slump currently

dnfing this. i’ve had no desire to finish the book.

the use of outdated anthropological terms to describe race was certainly a choice.

truly, with all the work that went into the statistics to have Scythe Faraday for his gleanings, the least that the author could have done was look into the current terminology that is used within the Anthropology community to correctly, and respectfully, describe race, ethnicity, and geographically defined groups.

interesting premise.

my lil anthropology brain is having a time with the cultural indices…….

something’s wrong with my book. the more i read, the blurrier the pages get.

dear god. i see why people say this book rips their heart out.
