Listening to this book (“White Trash”). It’s a lot of really good information, but like drinking from a firehose… and makes me sad and angry.

Can’t bring myself to continue with this one. Just not my cup of tea. Lost my place, but think I finished Part One and in Part Two somewhere? It didn’t hold my attention - I may have missed something pivotal because last time I forced myself to make progress it was fast forward past that moment? Just done.

Not far yet, but unless I heard the author wrong he claims MLK Jr didn’t die from the gunshot in 1968 but was killed at the hospital later - something that’s been disproven. Reminder to self the book is more of a memoir than a factual portrayal of history, but I always back at a misstatement in a book.. makes me question what the author is saying.
