I just can't take it anymore. Pretty sure the author has never stepped foot in Texas, much less a rodeo... Even the bdsm is boring. Who talks this way? No one talks this way! I just can't. Nope nope and nope.

Please tell me this goes somewhere because it's so bad right now. So. Bad. Forcing myself to read more... All the while rolling my eyes and shaking my head over the utter ridiculousness.

Picked this book back up... Glad I did! Things are getting interesting.

I have to put this down for now. I'm not sure if I can come back to it. I feel like I'm reading a divergent-hunger games-Harry potter hybrid book baby and it just isn't working for me. At all.

"Controlling my revolutions per minute, he let me idle, stalling me..." So first she's a Christmas tree, now she's a freaking car? No. No no no. No.

"Deliciously delightful sensations raced through my body a hundred miles per hour, careening down to my inner thighs and sex, lighting it up like a Christmas tree." Wait.... Did she just... She did. She definitely just referred to her lady parts as being lit up like a CHRISTMAS TREE! I can't.

He said touching his lips to my forehead and dashed into the other room removing his suit jacket as he walked" Meanwhile, I'm picturing Patrick Bateman going to get some sorbet out of the freezer, right next to the severed head. It's just too much.

Why does this book remind me of the movie American Psycho? It's totally creepy... But it's not supposed to be... I'm so conflicted right now.

I can't believe I'm about to read a Harlequin romance... Oh well! Couldn't be any worse than the last few books I've read... And it's free on Amazon. Woo hoo!

Again... Let's focus on the fact that the Farseer's cave is on the North Pole, but go into a long drawn out explanation of the fact that the Joon could care less about polar location. Ummmm... So why should we care? Color me Annoyed with the goings on of the Joon. Can we please get back to Carl's timeline?

Trying to figure out why we need several pages detailing the fact that the Joon view time differently than humans...

Maybe I'm just in a bad mood, but the overly campy, reaching too hard to be funny aspect of this book is really starting to frustrate me. One liners, lame innuendos, and bad references do not need to be inserted every other sentence! Was this an attempt to make the book longer? It really isn't necessary. All of the other books in the series let the story do the talking and not the campy humor... Though it was present

I like it so far... Sort of. It is a bit slow, and is in terrible need if a good editor. The grammar and sentence structure errors are getting pretty annoying.

This book is incredibly well written and quite captivating so far.
