Enjoying it so far, the narrator is doing a great job!

Storywise, the 32 year old sister who is mad that her sister writes books even though she was the one who wanted to be a writer (but wasn’t good enough) is coming across as a petulant whiner and the FMC better call her on her shit soon.

Intrigued to see where it goes though!

After ‘The Witch’s Heart’ I knew I would love anything written by Gornichec and The Weaver and The Witch Queen did not disappoint.
A powerful story of the meaning of friendship, love and magic, an epic Nordic Saga weaved with history and fantasy that I just couldn’t put down.

Please pick this up and surround yourself in its magic.

Gotta say I’m pretty disappointed so far. Everything happens at a snails pace, there are very few twists and turns, little emotion and the characters so far have little to no redeeming qualities, just vain as hell and self centred.

I loved Piranesi, but this is not what I was hoping for at all. I’d dnf if I hadn’t put so much time into it already
