I was just randomly thinking about how this year I DNFed my first book ever. It's a big deal for me because I used to struggle through books until they put me in a reading slump. I remember feeling guilty at first, but I realized that it's okay to not finish a book if you're not enjoying it.

I'm still hoping the book will pick up, but I'm now 65% in and feeling a bit let down. Many of the chapters seem like filler and aren’t adding anything to the story. If I don't finish this today I might have to DNF it 🫣

I'm struggling to finish this book after DNFing my last two reads. It's definitely not my usual romance fare, and I'm cringing a bit, but I'm determined to see it through!

Didn’t expect to learn this much. From learning about the PRC and China to understanding the process from manuscript to published author. I find myself researching on alot but it’s quite enlightening so I won’t complain about my slow reading pace.
