The undisputed existence of these two institutions—archive and
museum—is predicated on the destruction of existing worlds, which
could not have been pursued if the separation between people and their
objects, and between people and their world, had not already been
institutionalized

Being born in a place called Israel, I was born an Israeli citizen. I was
born a citizen of a state whose raison d’être is to make the place of its
construction, Palestine, nonexistent. The state, as well as my citizenship,
