i feel like the real plot has begun now.
i also love that there are multiple drawings in here!

i truly enjoyed this rather small chapter. i think it’s because the story is finally coming together. i specifically liked the descriptive way of unfolding Rose‘s character.

oscar wilde‘s way of describing everything is truly magnificent and capturing.

mr. darcy is so different in the book… and the love confession is also much more unromantic than in the movie, but i guess it’s historically more accurate. i’m just hoping for a scene in the rain still because i didn’t get what i expected.

i’m determined to read all the classics, so this is a must.

i’m excited because “jane the virgin” is my comfort show (currently rewatching for the uhhh… 4th time i think?!). it’s all telenovela;)
