My favorite chapter section on pg. 594. I believe this is the crux of this book and probably the best written section. It gave me chills and vivid images.

So far I love this story. More later.

There are some gems in this book. But to be honest, I'm disappointed. It seems like there is too much stress put on politics, and not enough on "wonders." I love the giants though. I'm not sure I want the whole inside scoop of the Norns either - at least not when I feel like I'm watching scenes from a South Pacific WWII soap opera of Japanese command forces. The culture is too similar. More later.
