This book is written in the most aggravating tone, and Violet still is an overconfident little weasel that bites off more than she can chew and yet remains protected by her UNBEARBLY thick plot armor

Opinion check! Hatta taunting Cath with riddles and sacrifices is 👏DESERVED👏 on her part! She has made decisions that have hurt others and still refuses to acknowledge that. However rude and sour Hatta is being, he has every right 😤

I cannot for the life of me understand Hatta's intentions, but I do very much adore him. Then again, he does use the pet name "love", and that always has me hooked ✨️

The end of last book was promising - the Selected started looking interesting. None of them, not even the one I know will win, is interesting anymore. They've all lost personality.
