Of all Richard Pepin’s problematic qualities, describing Free Bird as terrible music is the most unforgivable.

Can’t stop thinking about this book!!!

Weird, seemingly directionless at times and the narrator was over-the-top unreliable BUT it was a super fun audiobook that I couldn’t turn off. Besides the beautiful cover, I picked this up after seeing it on a “worst book of all time” list. I can see how just reading it might have been a different experience than listening to the audiobook which was more theatrical and fun.

😭😭😭 savouring these last 100 pages, I don’t want this book to end
