I like silly she’s not annoying for a fmc
I like Ilias and hekla
I like skated a even though she’s a bitch
I also even like Rey an Jonas even though they’re broody snoozes

Interesting to see who’s her dad seems that Rey knows him and might’ve figured why she has a price on her head

Important notes-
- there’s a serial killer named slatrari that burns his victims from the inside
- there’s problems in mines of berskium I’m not sure what that is
- disappearances up north of livestock and farmers leaving blood and claw marks and thick white mist

Another thing about this book so far which is not a lot is that it’s extremely descriptive in a really beautiful way but it’s really hard for me to get through like I get lost in the description and stop imagining anything because I’m too focused on getting through the paragraph

We got some stuff going on
Little blond girl can be looked at by the owl and has a missing bottom tooth and some sass

Also who was that grim wolf that saved her he’s gotta be hot

This is getting tedious and it’s almost the end of the book
Can’t wait for it to be done and I’m accepting defeat that xaden will not be cured or that he will but violet will turn or die or something
Or vi will die do xaden doesn’t have to hold control over his veninness so he lets go
Either way idc just let it be over

Also can’t wait to not read “well the fuck aware” again for a while because obviously I have no pride and will read the next books when they come.

If it’ll be Romeo and Juliet and he finds a cure but too late cause Vi already gave herself to theophanie I’ll be more pissed

Also if the books language affected ends when xaden turns completely I’ll be so so so disappointed because it’s like recycling the ending of last book like why draw this whole book out for the same thing to happen
I feel like she didn’t have any ideas for this book so she just made the plot that should’ve happened in the first 10 chapters after end of iron flame into a whole book

The fact I keep wanting to progress updates means I’m not hooked on the plot enough
I can’t wait to NOT read sentences lacking the subject of the sentence such as “have to admit that so and so” like were listening to a phone call

I can’t take this anymore I know xaden is going to turn soon it’s killing my stomach

up till now everything dramatic that happened we thought was going to happen to Vi but eventually happened to xaden. Vi was having dreams about being turned venin for love but turns out it was xaden that would be, we thought some mysterious shit is happening with Vis family in the isles but eventually we got to meet xadens mom and so and so. My prediction: xaden will leave and cure, Vi will go to theophanie and turn

I’m not doing well emotionally as it is and this is not helping. They keep talking about having to kill eachother and distrust is too much for me to handle right now. Please make it stop. I know he’s gonna leave a note and go away

Listen these books arent good per say

I cannot say with full disclosure that i am not having fun.
Lets revisit the term having fun since i know i used it alot during reading ToG.
ToG was THE TIME OF MY LIFE
ACOTAR had me glued to my bed
Fourth wing is -fun- because i dont have anything else to do
I read ToG every second i could spare.

I hate the xadens a venin theyre kinda of in an in between state i hate it

Getting a little tired of all the drama
Theyre at basgiath and the wards have broken cause jack barlowe is venin and stuff
Idk its 91% and im hay day breaking constantly

Is this book good or is it just way better than the first one so in relation it feels that way?
Pretty sure its the latter but Im eating it up either way
The characters have not developed but their relationship sure has theyre having issues and solving them and shit and its honestly cute
I also think listening to the audiobook while reading has dine these books a dis justice if you can say that

Ok i like this book way more than the first one
First part was really like a whole book the ending was fast paced and tense i had fun
Character development is still meh violet is “shoving emotions into a mental box” for the whole part and refusing to be with xaden because she cant trust him which is bull
Finally after aelin ashryver in doranelle torture she realized its bull and he says he loves her too

This is a horrible book
I cant say im not a little bit enjoying it cause its like 10% fun on a very shallow level and also it might be because im supposed to study but i really don’t want to
But it 40% in and theres no personality to anyone it crazy and shes really rude to her dragon which is weird like why is she so salty
It feels like the author is trying to make her cool and indifferent but shes a drag

This is really bad
I hate everything about this
Dialogue is shit
Her narration is shit
No personality whatsoever has been written for none of the characters
So many oxymorons like shes weak and fragile but she wants her best friend to think she can take on death college also she is so alarmingly calm about it
She thinks the guy thats supposed to kill her is attractive like hoe can u not be terrified idk man

5. Finally they trust hel so they went to open the rift
6. Pax and ithan needed sophies body to get sigrid back from reaperdom but bryce was like get the gel out and get me an antidote for the parasite in the water so they were like ok
7. Ithan went to say hi to the wolves but prime said he was his heir then sabine killed prime then ithan killed sabine now hes prime
8. Pax killed the under king after seeing connor

Weve got a lot going on lets break it down
1. Gang went to avallen found nothing in the books but figured out helena left her power there and it caused the land to die
2. Autumn king and morven ambushed them and took flynn and dec while ruhn was distracted by lidia but he came and killed them in the caves where they came to ambush bryce hunt and bax
3. Ruhn and lidia sittin in a tree
4. Bryce got the power

Ok so
We have lidia and ruhn - day and night - ruhn def related to rhys cause hes his tein according to bryce, and he has night enveloping him.
Lidia has fire enveloping her, and she has a ring with a ruby…. From her dads line which are stags………. Awfully familiar
And it was said the shifters came from fae who had animal forms and canines…. So related to aelin somehow
