Short Story #7 - Life Ceremony

Aaahhh the Title Story! And it did not disappoint! I think this one is my most favourite up until now.

Very interesting philosophy surrounding cannibalism, eating human meat to keep the person alive through you. Also makes you wonder what wine would pair best LOL

“…and the mellow yet full flavor of the meat, stronger than beef or pork but not as gamy as wild boar.”

Nice to know what human meat tastes like, learned something new today!

Another short Short Story! Commentary on living in a capitalist society and working even though you should be sleeping (my interpretation at least). Child’s perspective vs adult’s perspective. Very sad but also sweet

I do think it’s really cute to start a family with your platonic friends. Who cares what society thinks!!!

Even sweeter story about the two elderly women, except now they live together and have three daughters they raise (but they’re not lesbians noooooo)

A short Short Story! Very cute I liked it, little old ladies being friends awh

Short Story #2 - A Magnificent Spread

Very cute story about respecting each other’s cultures, and cautionary tale about how you shouldn’t carelessly mix different cultures with each other (at least, that’s how interpreted it).

I really liked it! It was fast paced, funny, and it didn’t really go towards what I was expecting (I thought it was about cannibalism lol)
