Aila has to be the least likeable main character I’ve ever encountered in a book. You can’t be shy and a cunt. Pick a struggle.

I can’t prove it but the illustrations feel AI generated

God the main character gets on my nerves.

I really liked the concept of a conservation zoo for magical animals but the writing is … not good. “I’m Aila and I’m shy and the Griffin Show is gaudy and tacky” OH MY GOD WE GET IT YOU’VE SAID THIS 30 TIMES IN 50 PAGES
