I’m not even halfway through this book and I’m wondering why it hasn’t wrapped up. Not a good sign and might DNF.

Millie is an assuming nosy busy body with crappy communication

I get it’s driving the plot forward but put cameras in your house when all this insane stuff is happening. Drives me crazy.

This “dad” is ridiculous and I want to punch him.

Almost halfway through the book and there’s more chemistry between a rock and Adara. Evren and Adara’s chemistry is “I’m so obsessed with you”.

Adara is annoying with her flip-flopping. She’s honestly giving me whiplash with her hot and cold “hate and love”. We get it.. you’re in love and you hate him, you don’t need half the book to make a decision.

Brooke's inconsistent behavior as an adult, where she acknowledges feeling uncomfortable but then immediately dismisses her instincts, frustrates me to no end. Get yourself killed, fine, but now you’re outing your kid in danger.

The flashback chapters of the teens knowing there’s a murderer in the house and not getting in a car to drive to escape, regardless of the tires being slashed, drove me crazy. Literally TWO people have been stabbed to death, and they're arguing over the killer's identity and staying in the house? Its raining outside so you’re not running to safety? I’d be booking it through the mud and rain.

Brooke has some serious issues with proper decision making…

I hate Sophie, she is beyond manipulative and her husband deserves so much better.

I called it on the gun being used to frame her.

I am guessing Jamie murdered Abby, they were hooking up and she became pregnant with his child and he got scared that Brad would find out.

Everyone in this book is an idiot. The women are disgusting and at this point I don’t care what happens to the main character. Interested to see if anything happens to redeem them.

I’ve been slogging through the last 20% of this fic for what feels like an eternity. It’s become my go-to sleeping aid.
