I LOOOOVVEEE T. Kingfisher’s writing style so much, it’s not even funny! Well, it is funny. Because I’m laughing every other sentence. Her narrative voice is so great, so witty, and so deeply relatable. Needless to say, I have yet to read a bad T. Kingfisher book! Heck, I don’t even think the woman can write a bad book.

I just read a scene where it confirms the Minions sequel is canon in this book and I’m screaming. 💀💀 There is a tiny tiny scene describing Matt and his son laughing about an actual scene in the movie like what—?! 💀😭 That was NOT on my reading bingo card!
