okay yay read the monkey. problematically i did like the film better (i liked the sibling drama and divorcee hal #sorry) but the boat scene in the story was really awesome. also very interesting to read how the childhood deaths were written in the story vs what they put in the movie. anyway. let's see how long it takes me to finish the book now that i read the one story i was reading for 🤓.
