I didn’t expect how many feelings this book would elicit in me (but again it’s Roy - why am I even surprised) but also, what’s even worse for me, that (so far) I recognise and/or have been to every single location she mentions in India.

Second reading. Two chapters in.. still the same feels!

If I can get through the first volume, I think I'll be able to finish it. Here goes nothing.

I am not sure why I picked this up but so far I am kind of into it. Reminds me of my Sisterhood of Traveling Pants days..

I wonder if I will ever finish this.. what I am not seeing that everyone else seems to love so much? (Sad face.)

The opening of this book is absolutely B R U T A L!

Beginning the series for the second time -- but this time slowly and with more attention.

Took a break for a while. To be fair, I am bored with this. However, I can appreciate the fact that this is a really good book and I want to finish it. Strange but true. Parts 5 through 8 for this week (hopefully).
