ASTERIN! Finally this book made me cry. Not sob like most books but I genuinely cried for the Thirteen.

Thank God it started with stating Riahn will die. I can't wait to see it. Does she have a second love interest? Because I can't stand if its Riahn. I hate him to intensely. He cant make this better in my mind. Like I personally will never forgive him.

Lets Goooo! This is what I'm talking about. Now I'm excited again for this duology.

Eh. I'm not so sure about this. I was really excited but this writing is not something I am vibing with right now. I think its trying to hard lol. Hopefully when we get to the trials it'll stop being so... idk. It's not flowery or poetic but it feels like its almost trying to be?

FINALLY! Finally something I can latch on to that I enjoyed about this book. Women saying enough is enough. Women getting their power back and breaking chains. Women getting there power back and destroying everything. Women protecting each other. I love this. It just took fucking 3 books and 590 pages... worth? Idk honestly.

Aelin can kick rocks. Cole did nothing wrong. Everything she accuses him of cab apply to her as well. She sucks.

FINALLY! I finally felt something though it wasn't sad sobbing like I prefer. No it was a strange feeling. the orchestra and conductor. The stand that they made. I loved it! I knew and they knew they would die or worse for it but they knew someone had to make a statement and they knew they would have a crowd of people. There would be no better time. I absolutely loved it!!

Well, at least some romance is finally happening. I'm still not loving this though.

I still feel very meh about this book. I have almost fallen asleep reading it too many times to count. I don't understand why people love it. I'm still not warming up to Rowan.

Eh. I don't like Manon. I do really like Sorscha and I love her with Dorian. I want good things for them. I know people really love Manon so we'll see. I just don't like witches in this series in general. I also ruined for myself who Selena ends up with and I don't understand how. Rowan is an a-hole. I don't know how they will make me like him but SJM has done it before so we'll see.

Yeah no the manipulation of being at the gathering being half our grade? Why does no one go to leadership? The principal? Even higher then that? This is weird. Why are none of the parents finding this weird?

...Ew. A teacher inviting all his students to his house for an informal gathering. That's not totally creepy at all. I DO NOT REMEMBER THIS! Even tween me would recognize that as weird though. Alric is bad right? I really do not remember this at all lol.

Regardless of how I feel about the characters or the story the author is very good. They way she writes and words she uses keep me engaged at the very least.

I'm only in this for Bonnie X Damon content. I have to remind myself that I don't have to like Elena in order to get the content I am craving.

Well...hopefully this is better then the last book because it is bigger and if it is more boring I will die. I have a feeling there will be more worldbuilding though since she is in a new kingdom but the change is also welcome. Hopefully new characters and places will be refreshing.

Oh. Also she's conceited. How could anyone possibly not find her attractive? This romance does not start off from love but from the need to have that which you cannot have. She just wants him because he shows no interest in her. This is all a game to her. God I hate this main character. But I remember loving the books back in the day so she must get better right?

I'm rereading this after like 10 years and I completely forgot how terrible Elena is. She is so unbelievably selfish. She says she feels bad and then continues to act the way she does. Poor Matt. He's the only one to point out her bad behavior even if it is passive aggressively. I'm only reading this for Bonnie/Damon content lol. Only reading the books written by the OG author too. Even her "fanfictions".

I love being right about twists. I guessed this one right after Ana's parents were reviled. I love love love guessing this stuff so early on.

I have loved every moment of this book. I am devouring it. I love the characters and the dynamics and the narration is so fun. The smut is pretty spicy too. This is what I needed in between me trying to get through the Sarah J Maas verse. This was so so so so good and I'm not even done yet.

Okay I am fully beyond hooked now. Things that I absolutely need. Bryce and Hunt to be happy. I relate too much to Bryces pain though mine is because of my sister. I need Bryce and Ruhns relationship repaired. ...Thats it as far as NEEDS. I have lots more wants. Like, Ruhn for myself lol. I know theres 2 more books though so like, theres time for lots of wants to happen.

Bro. I need to know this prophecy the Oracle saw. I need everyone in the pack who died to be brought back not just Danika. I need Ruhn to be happy. I need to finish this tome of a book.

The heck did the Oracle see for Bryce? I wanna know. Do we ever find out? I almost want to look it up and ruin it for myself.

I've really liked Bryce just proving Hunt wrong at every turn about her personality. I'm going to miss that. Now I'm looking forward to her and Ruhn making up because they need to because I feel really bad for Ruhn.

Okay. I'm out of the confusion now. I'm not a fan of Hunt at the moment but I also like him at the same time lol.
