this is making more grateful for my host family and the fact that nothing super weird happened on my study abroad

im getting fond flashbacks of my time in nanjing and my intensive chinese summer

is this just going to remind me of my chinese study abroad time

no way we’re romanticizing improv and college men being into high schoolers

put me in the ring with ivan and peter and im coming out victorious (i have my separate reasons to fight each of them)

when im in a hypocrisy competition and my opponent is peter

peter is happy to be acting so messy but also i can’t hate bc i was insane when various close family members/friends died

whyyyy am i making myself reread this. specifically why am i listening to this as an audiobook

100

who is surprised lol

mosscap reminds me of baymax

dara is pissing me off i need to put him in a glue trap asap

watching dara be put put in servitude again has felt frustrating also almost everyone over the age of 50 in this book is like sooo foul dude

im happy that nahri is a good surgeon but they put so much faith in someone who has previously done one single surgery before doing open heart surgery

nahri is a better person than i am bc if i finally kissed the person i love when they’re about to go on some really dire journey and they say some bullshit like “ i can’t do more with you because i need you cut the magical seal out of my heart” i would have have punched them

really enjoying that ali and nahri’s current plot is like omg i can’t love my brother’s wife but we hang out all the time while the average muntadhir and dara plots are just crimes against humanity and nuremberg defenses

my name is dara e afshin, i’m 1400 years old and my greatest nemesis is a 25 year old boy

oh it’s getting wild now
