WHAT THE FUCK!!!!! This has got to be one of the best reads of mine this year. I literally have to find reasons to stop reading rather than start and continue. Man this was a good read for me right now, such a good book for my particular tastes. I might just have to recommend this truly to some of my fellow linguist friends who also like some politics cause goddamn.

I am really enjoying the story so far and I am excited to see what occurs from this point forward. The magic system is cool but the politics surrounding it and its use is really whats getting me to keep reading this book. I also love the characters and how clearly they dont fit into any tropes or stereotypes but rather feel like people I would have met had I been around during the setting of the book.

Im really enjoying the book so far. The setup is wonderful and I can definitely tell that this is a story I will certainly enjoy. I wish Addie LaRue the best while reading lmao

Pretty crazy story so far, Im really enjoying it. I also really like the way Blake Crouch writes, very simple to read yet descriptive and concise at the same time.

Homer how many fucking family trees do I need to know?? Like mans spitting bout 100's of people when only like 20 at most at a time are actually relevant. Seriously, he name drops like 20 people, gives a couple sentence backstory, then says they died. I wont lie thought, hearing each time they die being referred to as "them meeting the dark" does leave an impact hearing it repeatedly no lie.

Man I tried reading this book back in sophomore year of high school with no clue as to how much I would have enjoyed it back then cause I am certainly enjoying it right now. Nothing crazy but I am invested now with a bit of curiosity.

I've been really enjoying many of the short stories for the most part, although the short stories surrounding wordplay are some of my least favorite. Asimov does note before them that they would probably be outdated for fans in the future, which includes myself, but it does not detract from the other stories, which I have enjoyed a lot so far.

Damn this is one hell of a world, also it is now getting pretty cool not gonna lie.

Oh yeah we are back to it and man I could not be more excited, especially after finishing robots of dawn like damn how the hell is Asimov gonna follow up the previous book. Nonetheless it sucks that, spoiler alert, we have a new main protagonist and so its unfortunate to no longer see Eiljah Baley in the picture. Still, Daneel is still here and of course Giskard, a new favorite of mine, is here too!
