I have a feeling things are going to become very bad pretty soon.. I shouldn’t be surprised since scholars are never allowed to be happy 😔😔

"She wants you,' Robin said. He'd only just realized this, and now that he said it out loud, it seemed so obvious that he felt stupid for not seeing it earlier. 'Very badly. So why-'
“Don’t you know why?”

The way they felt before their third year exams is exactly how I (and most of my class) felt before our preklintenta

This is everything

I’m ready for this to change my life

“I imagined those broken rocks as the broken bodies of my enemies, their bones shattered, their trembling arms reaching upward in a useless gesture of total and complete defeat.
I was a very odd little girl.”

Bye 💀

The way she’s pining after this man after 2 days of knowing him is sooo Preston coded. Ava Reid I have spotted a pattern..

:(

In Ava Reid we trust

“If he had… then it might mean that things really were well and truly cooked.”

Sheesh wouldn’t that be unfortunate

Something abt the writing style is really throwing me off, and it bothers me that I can’t put my finger on what it is

“When she goes out, it is not to
gather in information, but to spread it. At that, too, she is amazingly expert.”

Can’t a girl have a hobby??

me 🤝 jumping from one genre to another

“You are my favorite brother after all”
“I am your only brother”

💀

These siblings need to chill

So premise is: find true love or you’ll be murdered and turned into a sentient tree.

Lovely lovely

“The novels, who tended to be anxious, shed a few pages. Oftentimes prologues, for these were considered largely useless” LOL
