Slog but it’s nice to know my interpretation of Marx is correct

It’s enlightening but I’ll be damned if it ain’t a slog

If Jonathan Franzen had but a portion of Dillard’s talent and skill, The Corrections might have been a good book

This is genuinely so hilarious

It’s hard to read this when you’re working 6-10’s, but so far the book is just very professional. It’s got some great sections, and it’s a very efficient summation of 19th century continental philosophy. I can’t say it’s beautiful or mind blowing, but it is good, clear, and obviously significant.

This is really bad

This is like a comic book. It’s like an anime. This is terribly corny. A bit disappointing so far

I really don’t wanna read another sentence using ‘rust’ as an expletive.

I’m really trying here but this book is so awfully written it’s hard to read. Every sentence has me rolling my eyes and cringing.

A little disappointed to have to start this now but I don’t have any of the others I want to read. They’re hard to find in bookstores and stuff, and I refuse to buy stuff from Amazon. I’ll do this while I’m waiting for ‘star’ to come in at one of the local bookstores.
