CRAZY plot twist now I have to go back and read half the book from this new perspective

“Akbar” means “mouse” in Hebrew so every time I see this book I think of a very specific Israeli children’s song about a mouse being chased. ON the contrary, it is the main character of this book who is doing the chasing. What is he chasing? Drugs? Purpose? Death? TBD.

Might have to DNF…
