When people say this "almost turns into a new book !! :D" after the 50% mark... well they aren't lying, but just not in the way they think it is

Don't think I've ever seen an author so completely give up and abandon logic and reason like this

As a lover of worldbuilding, foreshadowing and interesting dialogue, the "Romantasy" genre has always confused me. Because what do you mean you want to take the potentially richest and most complicated genre and boil the entire world down to be a mere backdrop for one (1) kinda mid, basic, over-done relationship

I.E. : Sarah, you are disappointing me rn. I am disappointed. AND mad, actually. Disappointed *and* mad.

I know Feyre canonically can't read but her "how dare you say we piss on the poor"-ass behaviour about the whole set up isn't really helping

Starting to realize what people mean when they say "just turn your brain off" when defending the quality of books like this one

The way Henry describes giant spider monsters as "Many-Eyed" is fkn TERRIFYING and I am once again reminded of how being vague and less descriptive of scary things make the Thing™ in question Even Scarier 😭

This is one of the few books I've found be pulled from a (1) Swedish school library because the parents of a kid thought it was too much. And, even if it is *very* graphic and about what lasting effects rape has on a person, it is (to absolutely no one's surprise) a book about an incredibly important topic and is written pretty well.
