They better wrap up this bullshit with her and Taft quickly. How you gone be the stereotypical bratty FMC for Romantasy and letting this random tell you what to do with EVERYone around you calling it out? I ain’t tryna deal with this all book.

I hate the main character. She’s weird, she’s stupid, she’s nosy, she’s entitled and probably the most contradictory person I’ve ever had the displeasure of reading.

ok (I feel like I start with ok each time) it would be a lie to say I didn’t guess the “how” of the dad dying. However, something about reading it or getting the details still hits right on. I wouldn’t say this is predictable. More so, when the information is given, the most likely conclusion is apparent. BUT that doesn’t mean that I still didn’t yell at the book and pace a lap or two before going back.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE’S DYLAN?!?! Lowkey, I had a feeling Maggie didn’t off the baby. Now should she have given him up FARRRRRRR AWAYYYYY? Yes. Though to be fair, she didn’t seem to have that much time. Welp, Nina just got it out for her for multiple reasons. This is too much.

Ok, ANOTHER BABY?! Maggie, what the flying F ma’am?! The miscarriage, Dylan, Sally; she’s just collecting bodies. These two have a NEED that involves the other in a way that is just fascinating. Maggie needs Nina to be as free as a normal person would be so she justifies her insane decisions to make that happen. Nina needs Maggie to hurt and feel things as intense as she does justifying her actions and behavior.

Okay, so firstly, set Jon on fire and roast marshmallows over him. Second, as gross as he is, he’s absolutely right. Nina has it out for her mom so nothing is going to save her (she don’t wanna be saved). Anyways, also Maggie did something out of pocket or maybe utterly insane to keep Nina out of trouble. However, I don’t think Nina is just rebelling either; she’s also insane. Where is this story going??

Nina got problems. Because what do you meannnnn she’s an irresponsible mother. Lady huh?!?! She said don’t touch her kid and you decide, “welp she needs to appear as a THEIF for embarrassing me”. Nina so serious go to therapy though I fear there is no saving you; I think she’s been insane from the start.

So she starts acting out cause her daddy left, becomes a floosy, and gets pregnant. She has her mom locked up in the attic cause she got rid of her baby at 14. Stupid reason but whatever
