Pausing at 4:23:46 to clear up some library space! Taking a break as I’m just not feeling it and somehow I feel like the plot is just thickening and i find myself asking — this is it?

love the back and forth between erica and Abigail. the writing is so tender— Abigail having complex yearnings for her mom, and Erica talking through her relationship to finding herself. Constance being her connection to femininity and wanted her to be her sister/mom/ before her wife. The innerworkings of her mind are sweet and I’m enjoying the plot as it unfolds!

A very fun thrilling read. Easy to follow narrative. Love the premise of Aeon and the first few chapters really grip you w the 4 protagonists and their complicated and beautiful lives. I very quickly pieces together that they’d intersect (Brooke being the driver), but still haven’t caught the Andy/ Kate connection to it all— so vamos a ver!

Ooof. So many synchronicities here it’s chilling. The underlying trauma that is woven throughout the family that no one can talk about finally coming to the surface. The unveiling of Olga’s love life. The violence back in Mx when visiting fam. The breakthrough with seeing her mom as a flawed human who is just trying to protect her. It’s beautiful and I wish I’d read sooner.

Incredibly relatable - very smooth read. My only critique is that I have a hard time telling ever telll when the setting changes. I wish there was a more noticeable transition to things shifting but other than that. Also appreciating the distance from the actual loss of Olga but happy to see the fam wrestling with it (sort of)

a very witty entertaining read so far

Oof - was getting a lil tired of luciana’s complaining but probs cuz I’m only hearing her side of it. Other than that the humor is spot on.
