Basil L is starting Unworthy (The Blacksea Odyssey, #1)

DNF at about 60%. This was so bad it hurt. I don’t understand the high rating. The actual story is fine enough, but the writing is grating to read. Characters are poorly developed and fall flat, and the plot is meandering at best, despite the simple premise. I really wanted to like it, but jeez.
