Thank you, Janice Lee, for this gift. This what I I want poetry to do, to invite me to see the world and myself in it anew. To experience past present future as one and as unique moments in time.

Loving this book recommended by my colleague from the last hs I worked in. She’s using it as a core text in Humanitas and I see why! She wanted a book rich in themes relevant to students but also that had joy and was fun. This hits all the marks. Reading does not need to be tragic to be rich and thought provoking.

A compelling and quick parable filled with magic and the power of love.

Gay and gender-questioning characters struggling through the obstacles of high school and familial discord layered with scientific theories about a possibly shrinking universe and a missing person mystery, all handled with mastery and ease by Hutchinson.

Chapter one is one of the best first chapters I ever read! Just the kind of writing I need for the final weeks of summer.
