I can't STAND when characters complain about someone not communicating with them before ghosting when said character wouldn't give them the time of day to explain. Adair is one of the most whiney, bratty, spoiled, entitled, and annoying characters I've ever met and if I were Sterling I'd have left after knowing her for all of twenty minutes.

We finally get an FMC that's NOT willing to go in unprepared, guna blazing, ego front and center. I haven't read about a more selfless and rational FMC in a long time. So refreshing!

I'm not hating this book so far, but there are so many plot holes. Instances where a little common sense would go a long way. So much isn't adding up. Like Garrett not just grabbing Daphne & taking her back to their house. Or how Roxy's guards only try to contact Ryder & not Kenzo. Or Garrett not contacting Roxy from another phone to let her know his was stolen. All completely out of the realm of possibility.
