I’ve been slacking on reading smh

Starting a new classic. I like it so far. That may be since I actually understand some of the politics of the New York academy from my guilty pleasure show called the Gilded Age lmaoo

Magnificent. Heart wrenching. Makes me glad that I chose a major that can help fix some of the worlds problems. If I read this before applying to my PhD programs, I mights gone towards a specifically tree related project

I love not having any work yet so I can just read

Finally got my replacement for the misprint in my first book from the publisher

Urgh everyone in this book sucks

Finally entering more of a flow state in this book (hopefully my reading dip [not quite a slump] is over). Or just classics are hard for me to get into idk but I bought too many pretty editions over winter break to not read lots of classics this year.

Have to stop here because of a misprint :(

I got used to the writing now and am blowing through it lol

Not loving the writing style so far

Much slower read than Manhattan Rising lol
