Sorry any book where the dude is like “I can’t date because I need to be focused on job” really takes me out of the story

The amount of times I had to put this book down because of the horrible writing and story line is wild… it literally put me to sleep last night.

There has got to be more ways to describe her than the one word Eden uses. Also calling Sia “too pure” so many times is losing its meaning especially because she’s really not. I also don’t understand how this is an Anastasia retelling..

I want to DNF this so bad but there is only one more book! This feels like it was written by a completely different author. There is so much spice that there isn’t room for a good plot. Serious 178 pages in and he still hasn’t actually had a real conversation about why he abducted her and he’s magically in love with her…
