I read something the other day along the lines of "you don't find books—books find you," and it really resonated with me. I walked into the bookstore today, and this book was the first one I saw. Its title deeply connected with my current spiritual state. It doesn’t have the best reviews here on Goodreads, but I’ve decided to give it a chance—because I think it found me for some unknown reason.

Trying to get back into reading, IG kept showing book recs. I saw a post where someone raved about a thriller she couldn’t put down. A mysterious Japanese author, her excitement, and the eye-catching cover got me to the bookstore. Skipped the blurb (thrillers spoil too much). Now 41 pages in, I’m like: WHAT THE F* did I get into? Short, easy read—not sure it’s for me, but I guess I’ll have to finish it. Wish me luck!
