I don’t understand the high reviews. I’m struggling to get through this and find myself more annoyed than anything else

Honestly , this has been a huge struggle. I’m just not feeling either characters. I am so glad I didn’t buy the book and borrowed it from the library. I don’t think I’m going to be able to finish it

I'm really trying but all I see is Trent being a selfish asshole. His reasoning for stringing his so-called love of his life for 20 years seem ridiculous to me. The only redeeming thing is that he doesn't sleep with other women. It's emotional abuse.

Anyone else having problems with their kindle edition and reading the text messages between the two characters? Mine is blurred together and it's driving me nuts
