Honestly, the fact that this debut is as good as it is just makes me more excited for the authors next books.

So far, I like the writing style a lot and the story is interesting. I definitely don't like the direction they are taking the Joan of Arc story. She was a heroic young woman and the portrayal as dumb (and the whole lol she is a virgin, isn't it funny) is annoying as hell. Like, leave her alone.

It is messed up, but I really enjoyed Clae/The Swarm coming into itself more here. Will be interesting to see how this unfolds in book 3!

The livesuit still lugging people around even after the original person has died is disturbing to say the least. And a great horror concept!

I hope the Livesuit isn't trying to take over Campar's body....
