70% in and I finally like the guy 😆

I assumed this was 1 story- I was wrong. It’s almost like 15 essays about the untold side of so many Greek mythologies…. I love the author and the way she reads her own books, but I don’t know Greek mythology enough to hear about 15 different stories. Not sure if I’ll continue.

Read it in 2 days. First 30% I was like “why is this being recommended?” And the BAM! TW: It’s heavy on domestic violence.

A family is nice enough to give an unemployed girl a job and room & board, and to say thanks she snoops through their stuff until she finds suspicious things.

This guy is really great at taking ownership for things that weren’t his fault, and really shitty at taking ownership for things that were, in fact, his fault.
