The body horror is body horroring! I am making faces while reading this

so far so good - leaning a little bit too posh, but intentionally so and in a way that’s unlikeable in a plot-driven and effective manner. Good story, good and easily followable time jumps

good so far — not quite great. I’m not in love with the writing style, however every time I find myself getting a little bored the author fantastically shocks me. It’s grotesque and you feel yourself get caught up in the main characters delusions and obsessions just as much as the main character. It’s so close to being a great book, and whenever I’m not reading it all I want to do is pick it up.
