Wish I got a chance to return to this earlier. Chitty is uncovering such a novel history here. It’s fascinating. I’m eager to finish the history portion and move on to the implications Chitty draws from them in the second half of the book.

Chapter 4 is absolutely insane. The most vividly terrifying thing I’ve ever read. Every paragraph at the end of the chapter just left me thinking holy shit and feeling overwhelmed with dread. The imagery is unbelievable.

Also, what the fuck does razorous mean, Cormac McCarthy. Agoggle? Quarterwise? Why are you making up words.

Seems good so far but it’s a little hard to follow

Holy shit. This book is unbelievable. It’s absolutely blowing my mind. It makes everything so clear. I’m underlining almost every line.
