"Human beings are so destructive," Malcolm said. "I sometimes think we're a kind of plague, that will scrub the earth clean. We destroy things so well that I sometimes think, maybe that's our function. Maybe every few eons, some animal comes along that kills off the rest of the world, clears the decks, and lets evolution proceed to its next phase."

O Captain! My Captain!

Kids are definitely annoying when you have to try and survive. I am just as surprised as everyone else about how the hell they survived this long.

I'm constantly imagining the kids older than they are but knowing their age, I can't say they're annoying because their reactions are valid. I'd react the same. Love Grant, Macolm and Sattler!! Hate the rest. The rich guys are annoying the shit out of me...

I'm already sick of Hammond and Gennaro. Someone get me a hammer to hit them in the head 🫪

It reads slower than I expected. But, I'm curious where this goes.

I hate men.

I'm having so much fun with this read

Nostalgia is real with this one. I used to be obsessed with the Tinkerbell movies and reading about Clarion gives me the same feelings I felt when I watched the movies as a kid.

Edmund is starting to piss me off
